Picture post - Dogs
.jpg)
This is how some of us live our lives. There are some cycles that give us their cool shade . And there are other cycles that may fall on us - spoiling our sleep and giving us injuries.
Once the cycle that gives us shade is moved, we get up and move to some other place. We are free to move whenever we want to.
There are others who live life this way :
.jpg)
There is complete shade, but there is also the danger of the weight of all the cycles falling on us - one on top of another. Though the enjoyment is more in this case, the danger outweighs this enjoyment comfortably!
.jpg)
This dog could never really sleep well. Whenever I walked past him (let us just assume it was a him), he got up to check who/what it was. I also doubt if it could leave from this self imposed confinement whenever he wanted to.
I hope this teaches all of a good lesson. Other interpretations are welcome!

Topic Undecided -> Cribbing
Pre script - I hope no one will be hurt by the contents of this post. I didn't feel like doing anything else and so scribbled this in.
One is a set of two pictures that I took in our cycle shed outside hostel. The pictures have deep philosophical implications and shall be shared soon once I manage to transfer them to the computer.
The others I forgot... Hmm I remember wanting to write about something nice...
K never mind. I forgot. But since I started writing I'll just do a status update.
4th semester almost over. More of a mechanical engineer now officially. One terror exam called Manufacturing technology left on monday! I'm supposed to be studying that now, but no enthu whatsoever.
I realize that I am especially bad at writing these kind of posts. I mean about my own life. "All" my previous posts have generally had some topic about which I put endless fart.
OK got topic. Cribbing!
Cribbing == polambifying
One of the first times that we started talking about this was after reading this on SK's white board in his room
1. Do not crib/complain.
Most of us crib. And it is one of the most useless things one can do. I dont know why I do it. Cha. I hope i stop soon.
What you just seen is a classic example of cribbing about cribbing. It is one of the major categories.
Baby plans to organize a cribbers@iitm club soon.
Chairman & Founding member
Baby
He is proud of his cribs and has quite a natural talent.
His range of topics is quite limited though to Basak, End sems, why people put fight for grades, Life is pain and the like. But once in a while when he is the correct mood / when Sharav hostel night is around the corner and he hasn't got an invite, certain deeper topics are cribbed out like 'relationships' and
All bonding in the world is a farce, except the ones within family
President - Sai {space} Gaut(no H)am
which was unanimously decided in one of our daily mess sessions (We got the name Noisy Muggu Tams for our round table conferences in mess, which are now popular and almost anyone who has ever been to Ganga mess {I still call it that} will know us)
No one can beat him. Give him anything - best, good, bad or ugly , he can crib about it for days together. You can check out his blog - anamgine.blogspot.com for proof.
Cha I CUPPED today's exam da.
I'm so bad at this, worthless at that. You are God!
The latter is how most of the conversations with him end, since it is no point arguing further as his conclusions will keep getting worse as we continue to argue.
CJR to me : Saw saigautam's status message as soon as he became core aa da?
me: what?
CJR: "Life is pain." ROTFL
Secretary
A certain mech 4th year senior is the favorite for this post
Life time honorary members -
Many! ( including me)
Some deserve special mentions.
Lets start with the mech maniacs ,
Terror aka TVS aka Rajesh
Aarambikkave illa theriyuma. Bayama irukku da. Neenga lam S pottuduveenga
(After every maths class) Thala nee thaan fundaes podanum. Onnume purila. Innikku night un room ku vanthudaren
The irony is that unlike Impo, he is not always like this. Manytimes he puts you down and makes sure you feel worthless. For example this dialogue to me, CJR and Kanna
Electrical lam verum wire pudangardu.Computer pasanga (which somehow in his opinion includes me) vettiya computer thattuvangaAero na paper plane vidarthu.
This kind of behavior which is sort of anti cribbing, is what gave Impo the edge in presidential elections.
He is closely followed by his brother Rakesh
gtalk status for 3-4 days after maths end semester--
An ant bite puts an end to my MA S dreams :( :(We can all guess what would have happened.
Aravind (with a worried face ) :P
Ethuvume purila da innikku class laAnd so on! Srini, sreeki, rakesh, myself, chapli, shiva, nishaanth, kram etc etc. Imagine all of getting together at one place and socializing. Cribbers club (CC) gives us just that. I've been made in charge of webops, without asking my opinion (which has become a trend). So all you guys, soon there will be a cribbook.com for us! Keep on the lookout.
On a more serious note, I think its high time we start following the writing on SK's wall.
I better go sleep now. Enough fart to spend the time without mugging F slot! And @CJR - For the Nth time, my F slot is not HS.

Forbidden Corner of Central Library
Hiii Blog! You are still alive! Its really a miracle... Ya I know its been a long time. Its the next year -- Happy new year blah blah. What is it that people see on January 1st that gets them so high!
Anyway, I was at the library recently after having discovered that it has books like - Viveka Choodamani , Bhagavatam, books on Ramanar and all! Found out when I was pointlessly entering search keys into the libinfos.iitm.ac.in software. Was very happy about this discovery of mine and decided to hunt down this section of the library in the mega 5 storeyed building and procure some stud level books on Sanskrit grammar also if possible.
To my utter disappointment - this secret section was our very own MRH where junta queue up to get their Atkins, Griffiths etc. The second row on the left was allocated for "Religious" books. You could fill up 3 of the shelves of this row with only the dust that had accumulated on these books!! There were books belonging to Hindu, Christian, Islam and Sikh traditions and the fat ones like Mahabharatam vol1,2 .. N housed the maximum amount of dirt! I guess it was only because they have higher surface area and not because they were less preferred.
Its a pity the lib doesn't have any other language books though. I borrowed a small vivekachoodamani with sanskrit text and english translation! The person who issued the book gave me an awkward look. Most of the books in the shelf were last issued about 4 - 5 years ago on an average. The copy that I hold happens to have been taken by some 'paramaatma' on 20th December 2008.
When you leave the library, the security checks that you take with you only the book that has been issued to you. When he took mine he smiled and remarked - "yeh tho pocket me rakhkar hi le sakte ho" - looking at the size of the book.
I replied - "Haa ji".
